Back in the day (when I was full of piss and vinegar), I used to have all kinds of political links on the site.  We always had some sort of 'politix' link, and for a while, we even briefly had a 'Fugazine'.  It was definitely over the top...but it was what it was.  My heart was in the right place. 

The more I think about it, the more I think that I'd like to have an activist component to this site too...but I'm not sure yet what this will/could look like (hopefully it will be a little bit more subtle).  I have an idea...If each of us can touch the lives of three others in some meaningful way, then each of those people would most likely feel the need to repay the favour ...  in a forward direction ...

But seriously, I would like to do something substantial and meaningful.  I mean, that is what this band is all about, isn't it?  I think that if this page is to be a real Fugazi page, then it should be about more than just pictures and mp3s.   Even when I hadn't touched the page in months, the old site was still seeing 100+ people a day...not because of anything that was on the page, but because the band had inspired people on a level that very few bands ever have (or will).  So I'd like to rekindle some of that spirit, both in myself and on this new page.

I dunno, this is mere conjecture at the moment... but the internet is a powerful thing.  I have a few  thoughts, but I'd like to hear from you first.  Any ideas?
