 After months of giddy anticipation, as of today, the Fugazi live series is now officially online and is offering 130 shows for immediate download (101 new shows plus 29 of the shows released on the now out-of-print Fugazi Live CD series). According to the site, the band will release more shows each month, until eventually nearly 850 shows will be available. Each show is rated by the band for sound quality. Each show's page also features pictures, comments, flyers and discussion about the show (if available).
Keeping with Fugazi price tradition, the suggested download price for each show is $5, but there is an option to pay more or less for the show. If you do opt to pay more or less, you will have to write 40 characters or more explaining why. You can bet the band will be reading your explanation, so you better make it good!
I will now be clicking the Winnipeg show every morning until it becomes available.
Also, with the creation of a new account, it seems you will gain access to 2 Egg Hunt songs (Me and You, We All Fall Down).

Due to an increasing number of accounts being opened solely with the intention of posting spam, we have taken the decision to close the forum to new members. For the forseeable future, or until Fugazi realease a new record, no-one will be able to register for the forum.
It saddens us that we had to take this measure but we look after this forum out of love (think of us as a couple of old janitors in a dusty museum) and trying to battle the never-ending waves of spam-bots was starting to take up too much of our time.

Ever wondered what Fugazi's 'I'm So Tired' would sound like mashed together with C.R.E.A.M. by the Wu-Tang Clan? No, me neither but wonder no more. Wugazi is a homage project by a group called Doomtree and more details and tracks should appear over the next two weeks. Anyway, you can read about it here:
